Challenge:
A national housing construction firm required a system to support the planning and tracking of construction stages of individual plots within housing development sites. Information of completed stages had to be passed to their ERP system, which in turn needed to reflect on the company’s website and provide updates to customers.
Our Microsoft PPM Solution:
Configured to reflect templated construction stages, the system is used by regional planner to create site plans, containing individual plots. Plans are handed over to one of some 100 site managers with a simple function to track progress (with easy remote access). Regional directors have visibility of projects falling behind and can take action. Progress data flows into the company's ERP system through a custom developed automated interface.
